the British Library's Life Stories

In 2007, art historian Hester Westley conducted a series of interviews with Miles Richmond for the British Library's Life Stories.

The British Library's Life Stories project records the first-hand experiences of a wide cross-section of British society - everyone from politicians, actors, artists, writers, inventors, et al. to everyday people whose personal accounts are equally notable, often extraordinary.

The subjects’ lives stretch back to the turn of the 20th century, and their interviews are an invaluable addition to British history, as told by those who lived it. All recordings are publically available.
